Holwick Camping Barn
This accomodation comprises 2 seperate field barns seperated only from the River Tees by our own field in which the barns stand, and the Pennine Way which passes on our side of the river bank. Turn left on the Pennine Way the short distance to Low Force which must be one of the countries most beautiful river bank walks. A longer walk reaches the spectacular High Force, the highest uninterupted waterfall in England. Turning right on the Pennine Way reaches Middleton-in-Teesdale in about 3 miles and all their local amenities.

Of the 2 camping barns, the larger one sleeps 20 people with bunks on the first floor.
The smaller one sleeps 8 people in 2 areas on the ground floor.
Both barns have heating, a shower, gas cooking (no oven) with worktops, hot water and sitting area. There ia a toilet and shower

Electricity for lights and fridge only (no sockets) is by meter £1 coins.
Cost £9 per person per night room only (Weekend bookings are sole use 2 night minimum only)
Bedding, pans, pottery, cutlery etc is not supplied and needs to be brought.
We regret that dogs are not allowed in view of the close proximity of sheep on our farm.
The Farmhouse Kitchen can provide meals if requested in advance and a butcher's shop on the Farm is available for supplies.
